***Continuity, innovation, inclusiveness, and accountability will be key pillars
It is crystal clear that Ododo as the governor of Kogi state, his primary goal will be to continue building on the legacies of His Excellency, governor Yahaya Bello.
He believes that every leader should strive to build on the foundation laid by their predecessors, as this ensures continuity and prevents the wastage of resources.

One of the first things he will do is to conduct an assessment of the outgoing governor’s achievements, projects, and policies. This will help him to identify areas that need improvement and those that require further development.
He will also consult with the outgoing governor to get insights into the challenges he faced, his vision for the state, and his plans for the future.
Based on this assessment, he will be able to develop a comprehensive plan that will build on the successes of his predecessor and address the gaps that need improvement.
The plan will be anchored on four key pillars: continuity, innovation, inclusiveness, and accountability.
Continuity will be a critical aspect of the administration, ensuring that ongoing projects initiated by his predecessor are completed within the stipulated time and budget. This will ensure that the state does not experience any interruption in its developmental trajectory.
Innovation will be another key pillar of his administration, leveraging technology to drive development in the state and explore new ways of doing things that are more efficient and effective.
He will also encourage innovation in the private sector by creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
Inclusiveness will also be critical in the administration. He will ensure that every ethnic group and community in the state is included in the development process.
He will also promote gender balance and create opportunities for women and youths to participate in the economy.
Accountability will be a hallmark of his administration. He will ensure that public resources are used judiciously and that there is transparency in the conduct of government business.
Ododo will also enhance the capacity of the state’s anti-corruption agencies to ensure that public officials are held accountable for their actions.
In conclusion, building on the legacies of his predecessor will be his top priority if he becomes the governor of my state. By focusing on continuity, innovation, inclusiveness, and accountability, we are confident that his administration will take the state to greater heights and leave a lasting legacy that will benefit future generations.
