Special Adviser on Media to the Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Ismaila Isah, has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to support local talents and strengthen partnerships aimed at revitalizing the entertainment industry.
Hon. Isah gave assurance during a courtesy visit by Usman Ochi, a fast-rising music sensation known by his stage name Ajemo, at his office, Government House in Lokoja
He emphasized that the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is focused on creating a vibrant creative sector, recognizing its potential to diversify the state’s economy and provide job opportunities for young people.
Hon. Isah also spoke about the need for collaborations to promote Kogi musical talents with the aim of projecting the state’s rich cultural heritage to both national and international audiences.
Earlier, Ajemo, who featured on Lugard TV’s Entertainment Corner, shared his experiences in the music industry, including the inspiration behind his career and the challenges he had overcome.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Ododo for his transformational impact across Kogi State and pledged his continued support for initiatives that preserve and promote the state’s cultural identity.
Ajemo also thanked the team at Lugard TV for their role in promoting homegrown talents and for partnering with local artists in the state.
Highlight of the visit was the symbolic presentation of a gift to the artist in recognition of his achievements in the industry.
