***Says his suspension from office was a trial from God
The reinstated Chairman of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad on Wednesday resumed office at the Local Government Secretariat in Okene.
He was received by the jubilating crowd of supporters, well wishers and cabinet members who had converged at the Local Government Secretariat as early as 8am in total display of solidarity and overwhelming support to the council chairman.
Hon. Abdulrazaq flanked by the Vice-Chairman, Mrs Bilikisu Aliyu thanked the people for the reception and expressed gratitude to Gov. Yahaya Bello for yet another opportunity to continue his services to the people and again pledged his total loyalty to the governor and government of Kogi State.
The Chairman also expresses appreciation to all stakeholders, religious leaders, market women and particularly commended the Vice-Chairman for peacefully piloting the affairs of the council while he was away on suspension.
The Council boss and his entourage moved to the palace of Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, HRM, Dr Ado Ibrahim to pay homage and thank the paramount ruler for his fatherly counsels and guidance.
He was also at the radio station to make some broadcast and assures the people of his determination to place security of live and property a top priority and further express gratitude to the people of Ebiraland.
