The Candidate of the People’s Democratic for Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency, Hon. Olaiya Michael Olobatoke, OMO has expressed sympathy for victims of the Kogi Flood ago has suffered losses of varied degrees.
In his message he said “We are deeply saddened by the floods that have affected about 7 to 9 LGAs in our state.
“As the displaced families struggle with this disaster, my prayers are with the affected communities and the families, especially those who have lost loved ones to these floods.
“I hereby appeal to the federal and state governments to quickly come to the aid of all the affected areas, communities”
“I pray that the Almighty God provides succour to all the families and communities that have been affected and grant the departed eternal rest!
