The Osun State chapter of Atiku Grassroots Mobilisation Alliance (AGMA) yesterday installed prominent men and women in the society as its matron, patron and grand matron.
The event took place at the party’s secretariat of the Osun State People’s Democratic Party, opposite Biket junction, beside FRSC, Osogbo the state capital. The State Executive Council of AGMA organised a free blood pressure test prior to the commencement of the ceremony.
In a welcome address delivered during the installation ceremony, the state coordinator of AGMA, Hon. Raf Abdulhazeez Oyinlola, stated that success and achievement in society are best measured by how far the rich are able to touch the lives of the poor positively, noting that the nominees were selected as a result of their highly successful public and private services and their commitments to the well-being of the poor in the society.
The nominees are:
- Mrs Christiana Omobola Adeagbo – Matron
- Princess Oyedoyin Ayobola – Grand Matron
- Alhaji Yahaya Suleiman – Patron.
The nominees expressed delight at the challenge imposed on them by the highly symbolic titles and promised to always strive to uphold the lofty ideals of Atiku Grassroots Mobilisation Alliance.
