DISTINGUISHED Senator Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi has congratulated His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State, and Hon. Sunday Bisi, the State Party Chairman, on the inauguration of the newly appointed Caretakers across the 30 local government areas in Osun State.
Senator Ajagunla also extends his congratulatory message to the newly inaugurated Caretaker Chairmen and Council Teams in the 10 local governments of the Osun Central Senatorial District. He said the landmark achievement signifies a crucial step towards responsive governance, local development and effective representation for the people of the state.
In his congratulatory message, the Senior Harvard Executive Fellow emphasized the importance of these appointments and encouraged the newly sworn-in Caretakers and local government teams to uphold the trust and confidence that the people of Osun State have placed in them. He urged them to prioritize the needs of their constituents, work diligently to implement meaningful projects and foster an environment of transparency and accountability.
Senator Ajagunla stated, “This is a momentous occasion for the entire state of Osun. As we move forward, I am confident that our newly inaugurated local government caretakers will rise to the occasion and actively engage in the process of shaping a brighter future for our local governments and the state as a whole. Let us collectively strive to fulfill the aspirations of the people who have entrusted us with their hopes and dreams.” he noted.
He further stressed that the progress of Osun State hinges on the collaboration between the government and the people. He urged the local government caretakers to work in tandem with the aspirations and needs of the people they serve, fostering a harmonious relationship that leads to impactful and sustainable development.
Senator Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi concluded by expressing his belief in the capabilities of the newly appointed local government executives and his anticipation of the positive change they will bring to Osun State. He assured the people that he stands ready to provide his support, guidance and counsel whenever needed, adding that as a member Senate Standing Committee on States and Local Governments, he will use his influence at the federal level to collaborate with the state and local government councils in areas of socioeconomy and rural development.
