As we received the news of victory at the Supreme Court over election litigation, our hearts overflow with gratitude to God Almighty for His divine intervention in the affairs of Osun State, the State of the living spring.
The last few months were marked by several challenges aside the election tribunal brouhaha and with it came the anxiety and tension as we awaited judgement of the apex court of the land that would finally determine the future of our state. But in the midst of it all, we had faith that God would see us through and that justice would be served.
Today, our faith has been fully rewarded as the Supreme Court has ruled in favour of truth and justice. We cannot help but thank and appreciate God for his unwavering faithfulness, His mercy and grace that have seen us through this difficult time.
We recognize that it is only by His grace that we have been able to overcome adversity and triumph over evil. His power and wisdom have been manifest in the outcome of the Supreme Court ruling and we give Him all the glory and honour that is due to Him. Through prayers and supplication, we have sought God’s guidance in this election litigations and we trust that he will continue to lead us in all our endeavours.
On this note, I congratulate my principal, the executive governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Gov Ademola Adeleke. I congratulate my noble and prestigious party, (PDP) and the good people of Osun State on this worthy victory. As we celebrate this victory, let us not forget to give thanks and praise to God, for He alone is worthy of all our adoration. Let us continue to pray for our dear state, for our leaders and for our people that God’s peace and prosperity may continue to reign over us.
In conclusion and once again, we express our heartfelt appreciation to God for His divine intervention in the Supreme Court ruling that affirmed the popular mandate freely given to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Adeleke Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke. May we hold onto the promise in His word that says if we seek Him wholeheartedly, we shall find Him and be victorious over any challenge we face. Thank you, Lord, for giving us the victory.
