OYA Movement Set to Raise a New Generation of Okun Leaders

In an effort to drive positive change and empower the next generation of leaders in the Okun community, the Okun Youths Alliance Movement (OYA Movement) is set to unveil their theme of “Raising a New Generation of Okun leaders, through sensitisation, Empowerment and Political Action.”

Initiated by Amb. Oladele John Nihi, the movement is dedicated to equipping young Okun individuals with the necessary skills, knowledge, and vision to take on leadership roles and make a difference in their community. With a focus on sensitization, empowerment, and political action, the OYA Movement aims to spark a new era of leadership in Okun.

The unveiling event is scheduled to take place on the 14th of February 2025 at Lisa Palms Hotels in Kabba, Kogi State. Starting at 10:00am, the event will bring together young Okun individuals, community leaders, and stakeholders to discuss and strategize ways to develop and support the next generation of Okun leaders.

With a theme that captures the essence of their mission, the OYA Movement is poised to make a significant impact in the Okun community and create a new wave of empowered and visionary leaders.
