I congratulate and celebrate heartily our political leader, a quintessential communication expert and cerebral and ever committed party man, Hon. Kola Ologbondiyan on his well deserving appointment as a “Spokesperson” to His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar, GCON, a former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Presidential candidate of our great party the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
This appointment is not only well deserving but also timely and consolidating to the existing communication structures and resources that will no doubt contribute immensely to the success and resounding victory of the Atiku/ Okowa 2023 project.
I appreciate in particular His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar, GCON for deeming it fit to identify and resolving to engage productively by incorporating into his Presidential campaign team two great personalities from Kabba-Bunu/ Ijumu federal constituency, Kogi state ; Men of resounding portfolios, competency and high political prowess and capacities; in persons of Senator Dino Melaye former senator who represented Kogi west senatorial district and Hon. Kola Ologbondiyan, the immediate past National Publicity secretary of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, (PDP) both as Spokespersons of his Presidential campaign.
— This has not only affirmed the excellence human resources and political strength that has over time emerged from Kogi West senatorial district and Kabba-Bunu/ Ijumu federal constituency in particular, but has further confirmed the relevancy of the Senatorial District and federal constituency in the national political sphere, in the PDP as a party and in the Atiku-Okowa 2023 Presidential project. I am confident and state without fear or favour that the good people of Kogi state will reciprocate this kind gesture by giving their vote in block to the PDP come February 2023.
I trust Hon. Kola Ologbondiyan to maximise his competence and capabilities, as well as leveraging on his wide professional and political network and commitment to national growth and development to deliver excellently in his new assignment.
Finally, I pray that the good Almighty God, grant both Hon. Kola, Senator Dino and every member of the campaign team all that it takes to do exploits in their duties and in leading the PDP and Nigeria to victory. Amen.
