The National Vice Chairman South West of the People’s Democratic party (PDP) Engineer Kamorudeen Ajisafe has described the recent outburst and brigandage attitude of the so -called Yoruba agitators has unfortunate and barbaric.
Ajisafe who said this in the Press Release made available to the newsmen opined that such an acts should not be heard of in a civilized environment.
The National Vice Chairman South West also stressed that Nigeria may not be what we are looking for but the gurriella attitude Should be discouraged.
“We cannot pretend that everything is alright in Nigeria, politically, Economically,Socially and culturally but, we will get there if we put all things together and abandon winners take all and other steps that the developed World takes that brings them to where they are today”
“I want to say that it is an eye saw that one of the performing States is OyO State, why would they think of taking over ,this is horrendous”.
In addition to the statement of the PDP zonal chairman Engineer Ajisafe said it is crucial to emphasise the need for dialogue and peaceful resolution of grievances rather than resorting to violence and chaos. The recent actions of certain Yoruba agitators, as described by Ajisafe, not only tarnish our image but also undermine collective efforts towards a united and democratic Nigeria.
Furthermore, Barr Kamoru Ajisafe calls for a civilised approach emphasising the importance of upholding the rule of law and respecting the rights of all citizens. “In a diverse society like Nigeria, differences must be addressed through constructive engagement and mutual understanding, rather than through destructive means.
“Regarding the reference to Oyo State, it is essential to highlight the exemplary performance of the state in various sectors and the need to support its continued development rather than disrupting its progress. Any attempt to destabilise a performing state like Oyo is indeed concerning and goes against the collective goal of national advancement. Therefore, it is imperative for all stakeholders to work towards unity, peace and prosperity for the benefit of all Nigerians”, Barrister Ajisafe noted in his statement.
