A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Alh. Ahmed Naseer has called on the other governorship aspirants who lost the primary to Alh. Usman Ododo to put their grievances aside.
He made the call while speaking with newsmen on Wednesday in Lokoja, his home town, the Kogi State capital after meeting with some party stalwarts in his Local Gov’t Area.
The former governorship hopeful urged all the other aspirants to close ranks and work for the success of the party in the November governorship election.
According to him, haven secured a resounding victory in the last general election in both the President, Senate, Reps and Assembly in the state, the party should also deliver Alh. Ododo in the governorship election slated for November.
“I want to also use this opportunity to call on all the party members, loyalists and supporters alike who must have been aggrieved one way or the other to put behind them so that we can work for the success of the party.
“i appeal to other aspirants who were not successful to see it as the will of God that Ododo emerged. it’s Ododo today, it may be others tomorrow. so, it’s incumbent on us all, to rally support for Alh. Usman Ododo”,
Alh. Ahmed urged the party’s candidate to continue to reach out to all other aspirants who contested with him in order to form a united front and win the incoming Election.
