“More than ever before, there is a global understanding that long-term socio-economic, and environmental development would be impossible without healthy families, communities, and countries.” – Gro Harlem Brundtland.
Over the years, we have intervened, DIRECTLY, in the HEALTH sector. These have included our FREE medical outreach to the aged in our communities, as well as those who could not afford their medical bills. From partnering with the National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS, to provide free diagnoses, treatment and medication for those with HYPERTENSION, DIABETES, ARTHRITIS, MALARIA, TYPHOID etc; to FREE enrollment of our AGED and INDIGENT in the Health Insurance Scheme so the can benefit from FREE medical services amongst others. THESE WE HAVE DONE NOT ONLY IN AN ELECTION YEAR!!!
When elected, I intend to be more DELIBERATE and some specifics include, but not limited to the following;
- Donation of health facilities centers within our communities.
- Work with medical experts to run free health and drug intervention outreach on ailments that are prevailing in our communities.
- Ensure the equitable administration of funds for the vulnerable and less privileged patient bills in hospitals amongst others.
At the end, the resultant effect MUST EMPOWER the INDIVIDUAL to CREATE WEALTH that results in REAL DEVELOPMENT.
