A Consultant in the Agrochemical Industry and National Sales Manager of Standard Agro Science Ltd, Mr. Felix Olarewaju Komolafe has been identified as a worthy son of Ekinrin-Adde Community to be Inducted into the Omo-Atata Hall of Fame.
Adewale Victor Adekanye, who is the National Publicity Secretary of Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association (EACDA), speaking with News Hub Magazine, disclosed that, the awardee, Felix Olanrewaju Komolafe, is one of the few beneficiaries of the prestigious award based on his drive and passion for humanity and community development.
Speaking further, Adekanye disclosed that Felix Komolafe is a distinguished son of the community who has contributed in no small to the growth and development of the community, especially in the areas of youth empowerment, Education and human resources development.
Mr. Felix Olarewaju Komolafe was born in Ekinrin-Adde about 45 years ago to the family of Late Special Apostle I .S Komolafe from the Agbalogbo of Ona Community and Late Mrs Victoria Oniyele both of Ekinrin Adde, ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi state. Felix Olarewaju Komolafe spent his early and mid years within Ekinrin-Adde.
He attended the Apostolic Primary School and also Baptist Primary School where he finished his primary school in 1992 before proceeding to Baptist High School (BHS), for his Senior School Certificate in 1998.
He proceeded to Kogi State University, Anyigba, where he bagged his BSc in Economics in 2007. Felix Olarewaju Komolafe enrolled for a master’s degree in Research and Public Policy at the prestigious University of Ibadan which he completed in 2019. His thirst for knowledge made him to apply for his PhD in Public Policy at the same University of Ibadan.
Mr. Felix Olarewaju Komolafe worked in various places ,some of which includes:
Jubaili Agrotec LTD, Kano as Customer Service Officer and later Sales presentative from 2009 to 2010
Comfort Agrochemical LTD; as regional manager sales (South West) 2010 to 2014.
TELCO AGRO; as regional manager sales (South West) 2016 to 2020.
Presently, he is a Consultant in Agrochemical Industry and Currently National Sales Manager at Standard Agro Science LTD.
Mr. Felix Olarewaju Komolafe is a humanitarian to the core and a lover of Ekinrin-Adde community. He has contributed to the lives of people around him, especially, Ekinrin-Adde indigenes in Ibadan, through his philanthropic activities to students of both secondary and tertiary institutions.
He offers scholarship to so many students and has consistently paid for NECO & WAEC fees for a number of students of Baptist High School (BHS) and Community Comprehensive College (CCC) in Ekinrin-Adde.
So many Ekinrin-Adde indigenes are currently productively engaged through his assistance and are doing well under his tutelage today in his place of work.
His empowerment scheme covers care of widows in the community, through provision of cash, food items, and clothing for them periodically
He is married to Mrs Oyefunke Komolafe and they are blessed with lovely children.
