Presiding over the 166th Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC), the FCT minister of State, Hadjia Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu tasked councils leadership to scale-up revenue generation with a view to meeting up critical needs of rural communities in the territory.
She further appealed to the chairmen to ensure that financial burden was not placed on the councils, reiterating that the era of politics are over.
She also charged the leadership to know that recruitment of staff must have corresponding value for revenue generation.
