In a bid to support educational development in Ayetoro-Gbede, the Global Health and Indigent Care Foundation (GHICF) has announced the commencement of the 3rd edition of its annual scholarship program. Under the leadership of Dr. Samuel Duro Oloyo and Mrs. Julie Lola Oloyo, the foundation aims to provide financial assistance to indigent students in public secondary and tertiary institutions during the 2024/2025 academic session.
The scholarship program, administered by the Scholarship and Educational Assistance Program (SEAP) Committee, will award benefits to the top three students with the highest scores in STEM subjects and English language in each class. Applicants must be current students at public schools in Ayetoro-Gbede, including Community High School and Government Secondary School.
For tertiary institution requirements, applicants must submit a letter of attestation of origin, admission letter, valid identity card, previous semester results or CGPA of 3.5 and above, among other documents. All submissions should be sent to seapcommittee@gmail.com by October 11, 2024.
The foundation emphasizes that the awards will be strictly based on merit and processing will be transparent.
