Osun Central Senator-elect, Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi HBS HKS (Harvard) has heaped praises on Chief Ajadi Adekilekun Badmus who is a former Special Adviser on Education to the first executive governor of Osun State, Senator Adetunji Adeleke, on his 82nd birthday for his commitment to the ideals of good governance and growth of humanity in Osun State and unwavering dedication to democratic politics.
The Harvard Senior Executive Fellow, Ajagunla Fadeyi, in a statement he personally signed, praised the former Chairman of the Osun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) who turns 82 today Sunday May 28, 2023 for his exemplary life of courage and public service as a Teacher, School Principal and Chairman of the Osogbo Action Council (OAC).
While highlighting the public service records of the venerable statesman, the Senator-elect recalled the various roles Chief Badmus played during his senatorial campaign, describing the astute school administrator and “a light unto our paths” who is worthy example for all to emulate, adding that he lives a value-guided life in public offices.
“On this special day that our father, Chief Ajadi Adekilekun Badmus turns 82, we have nothing but gratitude to God for granting him long life and presence of mind.
“All of us in the Ajagunla fold and the good people of Osun Central senatorial district are inspired by the long years of unflinching dedication to public good by Baba. We are motivated to follow his examples because Chief Ajadi Adekilekun Badmus is a light unto our paths.
“I particularly thank him for his support for me, his guidance and encouragement during the campaigns for the senatorial election. He gave me confidence and demonstrated total support. In the process, I made a pledge to Baba that I will work day and night to fulfill the promise of a greater Osun Central if elected.
“I remain resolutely committed to that promise, even as I am delighted that Baba is still very much around with us. I join the children, entire family, friends, associates and men and women of goodwill to wish Baba a glorious 82nd birthday”, Ajagunla noted in his birthday message.
