Today, Shade Daviva Tunubu/Shetimah support Group as part of her efforts towards actuallising the presidential bid of the APC candidates, empowers youth and women in Lokoja/Koton Karfi federal constituency, while mobilising support for Tinubu/Shettima presidency.
While addressing the beneficiaries, the convener, Mrs Folashade Olobatoke states that the empowerment programme is targeted at alleviating the global economic impacts on the mothers and to share the joy of the Christmas season with them.
He reason for coming to visit them was to celebrate with them and seek their support and votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the APC presidential candidate at the forthcoming February 2023 elections.
“The reason why we are supporting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is based on his antecedents and record of performance when he was Lagos state governor and as the Leader of Lagos state.
“Asiwaju legacy projects as footprints are everywhere in Lagos.
“When you visit Lagos and you see good roads, bridges, blue and red buses, railway within Lagos, Eko Atlantic city on the bar beach like Dubai city in Nigeria, Mother and child hospitals, sea port, airport, lastma and many more are all Asiwaju BOLA AHMED TINUBU legacies.
“Asiwaju want to use his leadership and capacity used to transform Lagos to be a country inside a country and making it number 5 economy in the whole Africa competing with countries to transform Nigeria.
“Asiwaju BOLA AHMED TINUBU breeds successors as governors that are making and working wonders in Lagos.
“Asiwaju BOLA AHMED TINUBU has been making people from nobody to somebody all over Nigeria.
“Asiwaju don’t care if you are Igbo, Hausa, okun, ebira, as long as you are human being, he will discover you and help you grow. He loves to help people.
“Reading through Asiwaju BOLA AHMED TINUBU manifesto, he planned to transform Nigeria where everyone will have opportunities to grow and live safely.
“He has promised to guarantee freedom of worship, right of our children to education, student loan, housing loan that a family can buy a house and be paying for 20 years, people can be buying new cars on loan to be paying gradually for 5 years, creation of jobs to our children, guarantee of safety of our lives and properties, building roads and other infrastructure amongst others. We trust him, and we believe him because he has done it before in Lagos and he will do it for Nigeria. With Tinubu in government, Nigeria will be great again where we will be secured and prosper.
“I come before you today to plant a seed, which will germinate, nurtured and bear fruit; I’m confident that when Tinubu wins and becomes the next president of Nigeria on May 29, 2023 this programme will become an annual event.
Counting on the support and vote massively for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the February 2023 election, she charged everyone to begin to talk to their family and friends to vote for Asiwaju BOLA AHMED TINUBU FOR PRESIDENT by voting APC.
“A vote for APC is a vote for Asiwaju BOLA AHMED TINUBU because he’s picture and name will not be on the ballot. It’s only APC logo that will be on the ballot.
“Please pray with us as we visit every local government areas in Kogi West to empower widows and the people.
Responding on behalf of the women, Hadjia Ramatu Mohammed, aka Dana, assured Mrs Folashade Olobatoke of the total support of the women for her interest and to ensure that Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerge victorious in the forthcoming election.
The moderator of the event, Hon. Sunday Baiye explained that the gesture displayed by Mrs Olobatoke was an expansion of the her annual humanitarian activities in Kabba-Bunu local government area over the years but has been extended to the entire seven local government areas of Kogi west senatorial district for the actuallisation of the Tinubu/Shettima presidential bid.
In addition to cash and material gifts distributed amongst the youths and women, various election campaign items were also distributed to all the seven Local Governments in the district.
