The Executive Director of Idoko Health & Social Services Foundation, Prince Onuche Zico Isaac, alongside his team, recently embarked on a sensitisation tour of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Kabba Office in Kogi State. On hand to receive the team was the Unit Commander, O. A. Adeyanju, who welcomed them warmly and urged his officers to pay close attention to the health tips being offered.

During the interaction, Prince Onuche Zico Isaac emphasized the importance of knowing one’s HIV status, stating that it is essential for maintaining good health. He also highlighted the fact that with early detection and proper management, HIV is no longer a death sentence and the stigma associated with the infection is now a thing of the past.
Furthermore, Prince Onuche Zico Isaac stressed the importance of regular screening for silent killer diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes, which can be more detrimental if not promptly diagnosed and managed effectively.
As part of the sensitisation program, the team demonstrated the correct usage and disposal of condoms, and conducted HIV tests on the officers present. The results were confidentially delivered to each individual, encouraging them to take charge of their health and well-being.
To commemorate the successful health interaction and sensitisation session, group pictures were taken with the FRSC officers, showcasing the unity and commitment to promoting health awareness within the community.
The visit by Prince Onuche Zico Isaac and his team to the FRSC Kabba Office served as a reminder of the importance of prioritising health and wellness in our daily lives, and reiterated the foundation’s dedication to providing vital healthcare information to the public.
