Tinubu Support Group salute Ex-FCT Minister of State for her gallantry, Describe her as an Asset to the Nation

Nigerians Unite For Tinubu/Shettima Mandate (NUFTS), Kogi State chapter has lauded what they described as “the gallant and defiant strides” of Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, CON in the face of numerous challenges encountered during her time in office, and indeed in the course of her championing the campaigns for the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidency.

This call was made in Lokoja and made available to newsmen after the meeting of the State Executives of the group and all its 21 LGA Coordinators. The group stated that the Dr. Ramatu, the Zinariyan Lokoja went all out to ensure the gospel of RENEWED HOPE reached all the nooks and crannies of Kogi State. They restated that her support “salvaged their campaigns” to canvas and mobilize for votes for the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima during the April presidential election and subsequent elections.

The group further noted the “dignity and resilience with which she discharged her official responsibilities under the last administration” in spite of being the ’junior minister’, while affirming that Kogites are proud of her conduct and character.

According to the group, in preparation for the election the then Minister put up a gigantic campaign office in Lokoja and named it APC Unity House, the office which is well equipped and furnished to standard is rated one of the best campaign offices in the North Central which served and continues to serve as a hub for progressive activities in the State.

The group also disclosed that Dr. Ramatu also embarked on Educational outreach programs, Medical Outreach programs, Palliatives support programs, Community development projects in particular Water supply and Solar lighting projects, as well as campaigns vehicle across all the LGAs in the State.

Mr. Ola Adekunle, A Coordinator of NUFTS in Kogi State, noted that the group has therefore urged other “leaders to emulate this brand of progressive politics without bitterness”. This in their opinion “is what is needed to make Nigeria a better place.
