In a historic event that brought together Okun youths, leaders, and dignitaries, the convener, Oladele John Nihi charged the Okun Youth Alliance on unity in efforts, resources, and talents to build a brighter future for selves, children, and Okun communities as the movement was unveiled.
The Okun Youth Alliance Movement, also known as OYA Movement, was officially launched with a ceremony that highlighted the importance of unity, progress, and development within the Okun community. Nihi emphasized the three pillars of the movement: Sensitisation & Reorientation, Empowerment & Engagement, and Politics.
With a vision to empower and engage Okun youths, the OYA Movement aims to sensitize and reorient them towards a sense of purpose and direction.
