The Caretaker Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim has expressed rude shock over the unfortunate death of the immediate past Commissioner for Special Duties, Comrade Adesayo Yahaya Ismail.
The Caretaker Chairman in a statement he personally signed on Tuesday, said the demise of Comrade Ismail has thrown the entire Ijumu Kingdom, Kogi State and Nigeria into a mourning.
He described the death of the former Commissioner as a great loss that is too difficult to comprehend, saying his demise has created a vacuum in the family, Aiyegunle Gbede Community, Ijumu Local Government and the APC family at large.
According to him, the death though painful is the necessary end of all mortals, pointing out that Allah is the only man that gives and takes.
He recalled that during his service to Kogi State as a Commissioner, he served the State meritoriously and passionately.
He expresses his condolences to his immediate family, people of Aiyegunle Gbede Community, Ijumu and the New Direction family for the great loss.
He prayed Allah to forgive his sins and grant his eternal rest in paradise.
