The difference between politician and statesman is that Politicians remember the people when they need their votes during election period.they think more of the next election than the welfare of the people, Statesman in the other hands remember the people before the election, after the election and even when they are not in any elective position.they remember the people all the time.
We are suffering today from bad leadership because we failed to vote for the right people into office, which leads to lack of vision and reckless spending by the leaders.
Ask yourself some few questions like.
“Who is a politician, and who is a statesman among the contenders.?”
“Why can’t we vote for those who have not been contaminated with the dirty politics of this country?”
“Why can’t we vote for those who have created wealth for themselves and to their employees?”
HARRY S. TRUMAN said,”You can’t get rich in politics unless you are a crook” can we agree with him based on the fact that our Nigerian politicians who were poor became instantly rich after assuming one political Position or the other?
AIBERT CAMUS said,”The purpose of a writer is to keep civilization from destroying itself”
