I recieved the news of your victory with profound happiness. On one level, that a Nigerian had defied the odds and won gold but more importantly, a woman had flown the Nigerian flag high on the international stage.
Your victory shows the resilience, the can-do spirit of the Nigerian and your win will reverberate through time amongst Nigerians, most especially the girl-child.
