Youth group calls on Hon. Adams Bakaso Danfulani to contest for Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency seat

Political momentum continues to gather around Hon. Adams Bakaso Danfulani, popularly known as Quency, as another youth group within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi Local Government Area has called on him to contest for the Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

The group, composed of dynamic youths from various wards of Kogi LG, cited Quency’s track record as a philanthropist, grassroots mobilizer, and community leader as the factors driving their appeal. They praised his numerous empowerment initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of young people, women, and the less privileged across the constituency.

During a strategic meeting in Koton-Karfe on Sunday, the group’s coordinator, Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman, stated, “We believe Quency represents the kind of leadership our generation needs — accessible, committed, and focused on community development. His philanthropic projects have touched lives, and we are confident he will replicate this at the national level.”

The group pledged to mobilize significant support to ensure Quency’s victory should he decide to run for the House of Representatives seat.

Quency, also known as Hardo Brini of Lokoja, has earned widespread respect for his grassroots appeal. The endorsement from the Lokoja Youths Movement (LYM) further solidifies his position within the ADC, setting the stage for a potentially strong campaign in the 2023 elections.

With mounting support from various youth groups and stakeholders, all eyes are now on Quency to formally declare his intention to vie for the House of Representatives seat under the ADC banner. As the political momentum continues to build, the anticipation for Quency’s decision grows among the constituents of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency.
