Zone C in Kogi LGA Holds Stakeholders Meeting, Vow to Deliver 100% For APC

The All Progressives Congress in Zone C of Kogi LGA has resolved to work for the success of party, also appealed to all the aggrieved parties to be good sportsmen and join hands to deliver 100% victory for APC in next year’s general election.

The stakeholders of Zone C gave the charge at a meeting presided over by the State APC Deputy Chairman, Alh. Salihu Aliyu. Other leaders at the meeting include; the Secretary STETCOM, Hon. Alhassan Ada, Hajiya Maryam Suleiman, fomer APC LG Woman Leader, the four Ward Chairmen, all other Ward Executives across the 4 electoral Ward’s. The meeting was also attended by the four Ward councillors.

The meeting was held in the absence of Engr Bashir Gegu, the Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources who was on a state assignment. He however sent in his good will message that was delivered by the Secretary of the Zone.

Engr Bashiru Gegu hammered on total reconciliation and commitment to deliver 100% for the APC in next year’s general election, said Zone C has no reason not to work for APC because of the laudable GYB projects present in the zone and LGA at large.

The Commissioner passionately appealed to the Supporters of Team Wambai across board to in the interest of the unity and Party’s progress embrace peace and to display forgiving spirit.

The Commissioner commended Zone C for there loyalty and commitment to Gov. Bello, reasons why he said the administration was able to achieve so much within the shortest time.

Kogi LGA is divided into three zones A, B and C. Zone A which has leaders like Hon Salihu Akawu Saidu, Hon. Osune, Hon Idowu amongst others, while Zone B has Barr. Tanko Osuku, Hon Abdulrahman Wuya Okpasco, Alh Danladi Yahaya and amongst several others.

Zone C has Engr Bashir Gegu, Hon Wambai, Alh Audu Omoko and Alh. Danjuma Gegu, said they are poise to deliver APC 100%, pointing out that the Zone is predominantly APC.

The various speakers at the meeting appreciated Gov. Bello for his good works in infrastructure development, however urged the Commissioner to solicit more support of the Government in the area of water and electricity supply in some key villages yet to have benefitted from the gestures of the present administration in the Zone.

The zone also asked the commissioner to invite the Governor to zone C and Kogi LGA in general, commend Gov. Bello for transforming Kogi State to world standard in health and education sectors.

As part of the meeting, Zone C dedicated a new slogan for APC and GYB as a measure of the level of the Love they have for the Governor.
