Nigerian Baseball and Softball Association has appointed Special Advisers to Enhance Development

Announcing this development at a media briefing was The President Nigerian Baseball and Softball Association (NBSA) Mr Uche Odozor who stated that this is a bold step towards advancing the development of baseball and softball, Baseball5 and Little league in the country by appointing special advisers in key areas of interest. The appointments, aimed at demystifying leadership and enhancing operations, are expected to leverage the expertise of the appointees to propel the twin sports to greater heights.

Mr Adedeji Adekunle a Canada based coach and Chairman of Adekalu Bulls baseball academy Nigeria has been appointed as the Special Adviser for ICT/Diaspora players liaison, bringing his knowledge of technology and experience in the sports in dealing with players in the diaspora to the table.

Ahmed Tijanni will take on the role of Special Adviser for Military & Paramilitary Organization, leveraging his understanding of these institutions to foster partnerships and grassroots development within the institutions eco system covering schools support, and commands across the country.

Femi Aina, the new Special Adviser for Universities & Tertiary institutions, will focus on tapping into the potential of educational institutions as breeding grounds for talent in the sports. Aina is one of Nigerias most decorated umpires who is globally rated.

Jacob Albert Dede United Kingdom will use his expertise in engaging with Government & International Organizations (GIO) as the Special Adviser in that area overseeing international agencies and independent leagues operations and interests in Nigeria

Coach Gerard Hall (USA) will oversee Technical, Equipment & infrastructure matters!

These appointments take effect immediately, and the NBSA is optimistic that the new advisers will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of baseball and softball in Nigeria.
