Hon. Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones FCIB pays condolence visit to Olu of Okebukun on father’s death

The Honorable Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones FCIB, recently paid a condolence visit to HRM Oba Timothy Omonile, the Olu of Okebukun, following the passing of his father, Late Chief Samuel Morebe Omonile.

During the visit, Hon. Jones expressed his heartfelt condolences to the royal father and his family. He prayed that God grant the deceased eternal rest and comfort the Olu of Okebukun and his loved ones during this difficult time.

Hon. Jones also commended the late Chief Samuel Morebe Omonile for his contributions to the community and noted that his legacy will live on through the generations.

The Olu of Okebukun expressed his gratitude to Hon. Jones for his visit and kind words, stating that the support of the government and the community has been a source of strength during this period of mourning.

Also with the honourable commissioner are key APC stalwarts as Hon. Bode Adeyemi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Energy, Hon. Juwon Olorunipa, Special Adviser to the Governor on Art and Culture, Hon. Tunde Akanmidu, Ward Special Assistant to the Governor among others.

The visit served as a reminder of the importance of unity and support during times of loss and highlighted the deep bonds that exist within the community.

As the Okebukun community mourns the loss of a beloved member, they stand together in solidarity and remembrance, honoring the legacy of Late Chief Samuel Morebe Omonile.

Oba T. I. Omonile expressed appreciation all who commiserated with the family on the demise of their father, late Pa Samuel Omonile as he prayed that everyone shall outlive our old ones.

Oba T.I Omonile stated that arrangements are ongoing as regards the burial ceremony and the public shall be promptly kept abreast.
