***Says it’s a step Towards a Better Tomorrow for Kogi State as Development Plan Gets a Boost from Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide and Supporters
In a show of solidarity and support for the development initiatives of Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide, the federal legislator representing Yagba Federal Constituency in Kogi State, the honourable commissioner for finance Budget and economic planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris FCA, has commended the lawmaker for officially flagging off the construction of the Igbagun-Ijowa road.
The honourable commissioner for finance Budget and economic planning urged citizens of the federal constituency to continue to show their solidarity with Elder Leke Abejide, a man he described as a pride and a true son of Yagba, who is representing the constituency well.
Mukadam Asiwaju Idris while making his comments emphasized the importance of every citizen of Kogi State being intentional about the actualization of the Kogi State 32 years Development Plan, viewing it as a collective responsibility that must be embraced by all.
Speaking about the flag-off ceremony, Mukadam Asiwaju Idris praised Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide for his outstanding contributions in the areas of health, education, agriculture, and youth empowerment. He expressed confidence that the newly constructed road network will significantly improve the living standards of the people in the area.
“The construction of the Igbagun-Ijowa road will provide the residents with better access to essential services and facilities, while also giving farmers a reliable means of transporting their produce to markets,” Mukadam Asiwaju Idris stated.
He further stated that the road construction project is a testament to the commitment of Hon. Leke Abejide to the progress and development of Yagba Federal Constituency, and urged all stakeholders to continue supporting efforts aimed at enhancing infrastructure and socio-economic growth in the region.
